Gilbert looks like he should either be making cookies in a tree or living in the north pole working the toy shift.

How elf like is that guy?

Is Zabriskie the guy who fell in the TdF last year after leading for several stages?

hincapie looks very thin, climbing thin, tour de france overall thin? who knows

never saw gilbert before this but yes he does look like he lives under the protection of the Lady of the Forest or whatever Tolkien-speak i'm trying to quote there.

and yes, that is Zabriskie-real-deal-holyfield who's OLN catch phrase is "the most aerodynamic position in the pro peloton" and who also made the crazy crash that didn't take his teammates down last year in the TTT.

Is that an official prediction for Valverde...Or, does it fall more under the "I'm just saying" category?

my sentimental favs are george and valverde, before i read the results of the Ventoux i would have said to put your money on Floyd, but 9 and a half minutes is more than just tapering

The entire Ventoux results struck me as strange...hadn't quite gotten a grip on them, but the Floyd thing SHOCKED me.

As for the tour...
My dream scenario would be big George Hincapie (I want it for him, just not convinced he can make the transformation), if not...any Discovery rider, if not...any American rider (Levi, first choice), if not...Basso!

I'm questioning if Basso can get back to his Giro form, he looked awfully good there and also made some efforts that while impressive, they really weren't necessary. It surprised me that knowing he wanted to do the double he didn't try to conserve more...

Floyd? Was Ventoux "one bad day" or has he lost the early season magic?

Levi? Very Impressive on Ventoux...but even if he's raised his game, I don't think he has the team to pull off the tour.

Jan? Not sure why, I just don't see it happening for him.

One thing I'm sure about...I CAN'T WAIT!!
