weekend tragedy

Just wanted to post a note, Saturday, Margaret Moran, a local cyclist, was killed while crossing Highway 61 at Starhill. This is a really dangerous crossing because cars are hidden by a turn on one side and a hill on the other, which makes judging vehicle speed tough. According to Bruce Wickert's report she was struck by a Hummer and never regained consciousness. Very sad news.
